About the artist

Stephane Leonardi is a French and Paris-based illustrator whose works are deeply inspired by American comics pop culture and classic sci-fi movies as well as European master artists such as Moebius.

 

This dual approach can also be seen in the techniques he is using for his illustrations by mixing traditional and digital media to bring out the best of both worlds.

 

Always passionate about combining the old with the new, he has now focused for a couple of years on a retro-futuristic style where female characters are taking center stage with recurring themes such as space exploration, cyberpunk and steampunk elements.
